How to check your PNR on the airline site, and what the officer sees
You should verify the PNR before you leave Madurai. Do it on your phone or laptop. Here is how.
Go to the airline's official website. For IndiGo, it is goindigo.in. For Air India, airindia.com. For Vistara, airvistara.com. Look for a tab called Manage Booking or Check PNR Status. Click it. Enter the six-character PNR from your reservation email. Then enter your last name exactly as on the passport. Click submit.
If the reservation is live, you will see a page with your name, flight number, departure and arrival airports, date, and time. You will also see a status like Held or On Hold. That means the seat is reserved but not paid. No e-ticket number is shown because no ticket has been issued. That is normal for a dummy reservation.
If the page says No record found or Invalid PNR, do not panic. First check that you typed the PNR correctly. It is case-sensitive. Then check the last name. It must match the passport spelling. If it still does not show, message us on WhatsApp. We will send a screenshot from the airline's system. But remember, we cannot change the reservation after it is issued. So if the name is wrong in the PNR, you need a fresh order.
